Die vollständige Bibliographie des "MicroBiota Handbook" – die originalen wissenschaftlichen Quellen hinter den Referenznummern, die in den Kapiteln erscheinen.

Was enthält die Bibliographie?

Dieser Anhang versammelt die vollständige Bibliographie des Buches an einem Ort: jede wissenschaftliche Quelle, die in irgendeinem Kapitel des Bandes zitiert wird. Die Nummern `[12]`, `[325]` und weitere im Fließtext verweisen auf die unten aufgeführten Einträge – die Nummerierung läuft über das gesamte Buch hinweg, sodass dieselbe Referenznummer `[N]` immer auf dieselbe Quelle verweist. Die überwiegende Mehrheit der aufgeführten Publikationen ist in peer-reviewten Fachzeitschriften erschienen und auch in indexierten Datenbanken (PubMed/NCBI, Crossref) auffindbar, von renommierten Fachverlagen.

Warum steht unter jedem Eintrag eine Zusammenfassung?

Unter jeder Quelle finden Sie eine Synopse von 5–6 Sätzen. Dabei handelt es sich nicht um das offizielle Abstract des Artikels, sondern um eine kurze, allgemein verständliche Zusammenfassung, die den Hintergrund der Studie, die verwendete Methode, das wichtigste Ergebnis und dessen klinische oder praktische Bedeutung darstellt. Ihr Zweck ist es, der Leserin und dem Leser eine rasche Entscheidung darüber zu ermöglichen, ob sich die Lektüre der vollständigen Publikation lohnt und ob sie zur eigenen Fragestellung oder zur Situation der Patientin bzw. des Patienten passt. Die Zusammenfassungen helfen Ihnen, sich auch ohne direkten Zugang zum Volltext zu orientieren.

Wie wird es benutzt?

Unter jedem Eintrag finden Sie die Zeile "Zitiert in": Ein Klick auf die dort angezeigte Kapitelnummer führt Sie an die Stelle des Buches zurück, an der die Quelle zitiert wird. Innerhalb des jeweiligen Kapitels bringt ein Klick auf die Markierung `[N]` die Leserin und den Leser hierher zurück, zur Bibliographie – Sie können sich also in beide Richtungen frei bewegen. Ein Klick auf die mit "Link" gekennzeichnete Referenz öffnet die Publikation auf der Seite des Verlags oder von NCBI, wo sich – sofern der Artikel frei zugänglich ist (Open Access) – auch der Volltext lesen lässt.
